A school commissioner for the Commission scolaire de Montréal and current assistant to the federal MP for the Jeanne-Le Ber riding, Mr. Dorais holds a university degree in philosophy and social ethics. Highly involved in his community both socially and politically, he was also the president of the Caisse Desjardins of Sir-G.É.-Cartier Park in Montréal. He played a decisive role in increasing the Caisse’s financial involvement in the community, and in creating scholarship programs. Today he is also chair of the board of directors for the Fondation du patrimoine de L’Étincelle, while remaining involved with many school and educational organizations.
